Basic Motorcycle Course II

This course is intended for those who have considerable motorcycle riding experience. Specifically trained instructors will lead you through six hours of skills practice, and discussion on the range. Examples of specific course content include higher speed steering, cornering, counterweighting, traction awareness, and braking. Other course time is devoted to motorcycle dynamics: wind effects, tire characteristics, and load distribution.

  • Location: Classes held in Parking Lot O on the OTC Springfield Campus.
  • Protective clothing required: Helmet (DOT approved), over the ankle skid-proof boot/shoe, with no heels taller than 2″, denim weight pant and long-sleeve shirt or jacket, eye protection, and full-finger gloves. Students may bring their own helmet (DOT approved 3/4 or full-face only. No half helmets permitted).

Refund Policy

This course is non-refundable from the time of registration. A $100 change fee will be assessed for moving from one class to another, prior to the class date. Request for a change in class date must be made a minimum of 14 business days prior to the beginning of class. If a class is canceled by the college, you will receive a full refund.  Failure to complete the program or inability to successfully complete the program does not constitute a reason for a full or partial refund.
